Over the Hump in Pumps

Happy Over the Hump in Pumps Day Girlfriends. Yes I am creating a new moniker for Thursday.  I could have labeled it Thirsty Thursday and it would have at least two meanings.  For all of you who enjoy a craft brew it could indicate T (girl) minus 1 until the commencement of another connoisseur’s nirvana.  It could also mean the desire for the weekend to begin, thirsty for a break from the mundane.

How are you my sisters?  I have been quite consumed with work, my writing relegated to every second day.  What’s the old saw?  Absence makes the heart grow fonder?  Absence also makes the boss edgy.  And a rolling stone will give you a hell of a bruise.

Enough foolishness for the moment.  Let’s focus on us, the best part of the duality we live. Are you enjoying your femininity?  Enjoyment takes many forms.  It does not always have to present itself in “dressed to kill” finishes although it is amazing to see beauty radiating from you when you are the woman you love so much. 

Your femininity is woven into the fabric of your being.  I will bet you cannot determine where the male ends and the female begins.  If you can determine that line of demarcation you may be spending too much time chasing the elusive; unless of course finding the crossover point is of such vital importance that you put on your Lewis and Clark.

For me, knowing that my femininity makes me better, complete, compassionate, passionate and discerning is enough for me. I might separate the genders outwardly because the world isn’t ready for us to exhibit our true selves but internally I rejoice over the fact that I can embrace the best of both genders and find the peace that for so long had been just beyond my grasp.

Sisters, be in love with all of you.  Loving yourself is the first and most vital step towards the happiness that transcends all things material.
