Tuesday winds down as Wednesday
rolls forward; the relentlessness of the calendar confirms the world waits for
no one. Time waits for no one no matter
how special you think you are.
What does the middle of your week
portend? Will you see it as an
accomplishment by arriving or will there be more of a flourish in your approach? Life should never be so heavy that it feels
like a slog. When that happens you
should pull the cord signaling your stop is next. Step off the trolley for a bit and regroup.
Yes I know there’s no stopping
things. And yes you may be
bypassed. If you are feeling like you
don’t want to be swept up by the maelstrom building behind you; if your sails
are torn or tattered you will want the opportunity to stand down and apply the
needle. You don’t “need” to put yourself
through the torture of accommodating outside forces.
You don’t want to try to maneuver
with your equipment in disrepair. That
would be like walking the red carpet with one broken heel. Hurry,
hurry, always scurry does not have to be the refrain accompanying your
journey.
If you are in the zone you’ve
probably heard these refrains: hurry up and transition, take hormones, get
electrolysis, get this, get that and so on and so forth. If you have an inkling of what’s right for
you, unwelcome pressure can be jettisoned.
You don’t need to fall prey to what others think is appropriate for you. Who knows what’s better for you than
you? That’s right honey, you are your
responsibility; there’s no pawning that onto other people. And why would you want to abdicate?
I’m not getting pressure so this
isn’t about me. I don’t allow intrusions
unless they are welcome or warranted.
See, I do heed my advice and it works!
Now it’s up to you. Slog or glide, coast or accelerate. You are in the captain’s chair. Decide if the channel is clear and if your
vessel is seaworthy.
Have a wonderful Wednesday.
Love and hugs, Nikki DiCaro
