Top of the morning! Try this: Thoughtful Tuesday turns adverbs on their head. That would make a good headline. Change things up and generate thoughtful looks.  Replace placeholder adverbs with new words that will cause people to think.  You’ll be performing a literary public service by expanding vocabulary and encouraging people to break out of the “same old – same old” rut of word exhaustion.
Try replacing the word “basically” with “complexly”.  How about “angularly” instead of “actually”.  We know “actuality” is in the mind of the beholder.  Nothing is actually until we say it is.
Today is a green day. Pin a few dollar bills to your sleeve.  Clip them to your earrings; let them dangle and sway as you move.  This corner of the world has been celebrating for two weekends.  I should research the saint to see if he was the inventor of the hops-based fermented liquid that has become the hallmark of this time of year.
Hand it to the beer manufacturers; they’ve stumbled upon something.  Ingenious to link an inebriating beverage with a holy man.  Is St. Patrick the patron saint of the brew master?  They could do worse.
How are things in your ecosystem?  I’m deciphering the latest five-day forecast that was offered this morning (is it morning before the sun rises?). Another storm system is moving in and if all the variables and factors occur we could see snow.  Interesting bet hedging.
If all of the factors necessary fall into place I’ll not only win the lottery but also wear the Miss America crown.  Dream a little dream…
Let’s move to the reality of life – fantasy can only take us so far before we have to awaken.  It’s 6:45 a.m. and Miss Sun is preparing for her grand entrance.  The carpet of morning’s first light will roll out to welcome us.  Burn brightly sister; warm the day and chase away the clouds.  Unfurl your beauty as we enter another rotational cycle of life.
Make today whatever you like; actually, figuratively, basically, complexly or any of the other “Lees” that introduce a statement.  Speak your mind – don’t give away pieces.  Allow others to experience your thoughts without surrendering gray matter.  I tried giving someone a piece of my mind.  They gave it back and I had no place to put it.  The moment was awkward. There I was holding that pulsing piece of thought in one hand and a cup of coffee in the other.  I could have used another hand.  I’ve made allowance for disposal of any of those unwanted sections.  The receptacle hangs from my handbag.  It’s stylish and fashionable.  I’m going to check the US Patent and Trademark Office to see if I can protect this invention.  I think it will be popular and a “must have”. People are too busy to stop and accept such offering.  They’re going to need a place to put it once given.
As I begin market testing let me know if you’d be interested in acquiring one of these items.  They will be available in every color of the rainbow and if you pre-order now I’ll send you a second receptacle free (not for free), just pay additional shipping and handling.
Smile, it’s another one of those “Nikkism” days.

Love and hugs, Nikki Nicole DeCaro
